The Accidental Beginnings of nd’s Bakery and Fast Food
The story of nd’s Bakery and Fast Food is one of innovation born out of necessity. During one tourist season, nd’s had produced a large quantity of cheese in anticipation of high demand. However, due to political unrest, our reseller was unable to sell the cheese. Faced with this challenge, we decided to introduce pizza to the Nepalese market—a bold move that turned out to be a game-changer.
Fortunately, our customers loved the pizza, which is crafted from the finest all-natural ingredients and made entirely from scratch. Encouraged by this success, we gradually expanded our offerings to include pastries, cookies, cakes, and sandwiches. To ensure the highest quality, our bakers have been trained by expert bakers from the U.S. and Germany. Today, our bakery sector continues to grow every year, keeping pace with increasing customer demand.
Our fast food segment naturally evolved alongside the bakery, driven by customer requests for a wider variety of items such as momos, tea, beverages, and Indo-Chinese dishes. To meet these demands, we introduced a small kitchen staffed by experienced chefs. This initiative led to the creation of nd’s self-service café, which has since become a unique and beloved attraction in town.
What started as an accidental venture has now become a cornerstone of nd’s brand, showcasing our ability to adapt, innovate, and delight our customers with delicious, high-quality food.
