Pioneer Dairy in the Private Sector

Nepal Dairy Pvt. Ltd. began its journey in 1979 as a small cottage-style dairy with an initial investment of just $3,000 (Rs. 70,000) and a modest production of 14 liters of milk. What started as a shared hobby among seven passionate individuals has now grown into a thriving enterprise, employing over 300 people and making a significant impact on Nepal’s dairy industry.

From its humble beginnings, Nepal Dairy has expanded its product range to include yogurt, cheese, paneer, butter, ice cream, methai, and milk, catering to the diverse tastes and needs of its customers. Today, our state-of-the-art factory is equipped to handle 20,000 liters of milk per hour, a testament to our growth and commitment to innovation.

As a proud member of the Dairy Industries Nepal (DIN) Association, Nepal Dairy continues to play a leading role in shaping the future of the dairy sector in Nepal. Our journey from a small-scale operation to an industry leader reflects our dedication to quality, sustainability, and community empowerment.
