NDITM

Background

NDITM (Nepal Dairy Institute of Technology and Management) was established as a sister organization of Nepal Dairy Pvt. Ltd., drawing on 35 years of successful business experience in the dairy industry. NDITM was founded with a clear mission: to equip academic graduates and assistant-level candidates with the technical and managerial skills needed to excel as professionals in industries such as dairy, livestock, and food processing—or to empower them to start their own businesses in these fields.

In addition to its training programs, NDITM collaborates with academic institutions like Kathmandu University and Tribhuvan University to complement their academic curricula. By offering in-plant practical training courses, NDITM bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industry experience, ensuring graduates are job-ready and capable of contributing meaningfully to their fields.

Main Objectives

NDITM aims to create a shared platform for national and international professionals in dairy and food processing, focusing on:

  • Transferring knowledge and technology from experienced professionals to the next generation.

  • Promoting technologies that are suitable and sustainable for Nepal’s context.

  • Creating opportunities for professional employment, entrepreneurship, and enterprise development in the dairy and food sectors, with the ultimate goal of reducing poverty.
